You can use basil as a Face Toner , Face Mask to open a clogged pores and will also help individuals who suffer from oily skin.

2. Calendula

Natural oil extracted from marigold flower (Calendula officinalis) known as Calendula oil . It's anti-fungal , anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties which are used as an antis healing wounds, soothing eczema and relieving diaper rash.  It's often used as complementary or alternative treatment. 3. Turmeric

Turmeric a Golden Ingredient with Many Skin Benefits. You may have already been told about the health benefits of consuming turmeric on daily basis , it imparts the same results for your skin and beauty. It contains antioxidants and anti-flammatory components. These characteristics may help you to restore your natural skin glow and treat uneven skin tone. This spice is very effective against acne and redness. It can  be used to tackle skin troubles like it will delay the signs of ageing , soothes burns , cures stretch marks and will also helps you treat your sun tan  which makes your skin dull. A lot of people are concerned about turmeric turning their skin and face yellow. So, I personally use just a pinch of turmeric to my face pack which have always given a wonderful glowing skin in return.

4. Cloves

Getting rid of marks and acne is one of the biggest concern for most of the women across the world. We often look for easy or simple solutions like buying expensive chemical based cosmetic products, various salon treatments or else we go for medications to get rid of those stubborn acne and still failed to receive the result you desired for.  Clove is a go to solution for most of your skin problems having ample healing properties. Clove oil contains a compound called as Eugenol that helps in treating acne , minimizing the sagginess of the your skin and prevents the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles. It fights the acne bacteria and helps in reducing swelling and redness. Clove oil has a strong aroma and can be irritating for people with sensitive skin.

5. Ashwagandha

"A Superfood for skin."  Its strong antioxidant properties help protect the skin against free radical damage and slow down the ageing process by firming up your skin for a youthful look. Ashwagandha stimulates DHEA , which is precursor to both testosterone and estrogen and stimulate the production of natural skin oils. While ashwagandha does not contain collagen , it does not contain many compounds know to stimulate the skin thereby increasing its appearance. Extracts from ashwagandha roots may significantly increase telomerase activity , thereby protecting against telomere loss and potentially delaying ageing.
Ashwagandha has been used for centuries as a general body tonic , as it makes you feel stronger and healthier , it is also present in Chyawanprash ( the delicious and famous concoction stocked up in every Indian household ). It will also help in calming down your nervous system , eases stress and insomnia. Another way to reap the benefits of Ashwagandha for your skin is to use a face pack with ashwagandha powder.
